Nécrologie de Maurice Robert Lavigne
Peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Glengarry Memorial Hospital in Alexandria, at the age of 84 years.
Beloved husband of 52 years to Clara Lavigne (née Legault). Loving father of Robert Lavigne (Wendy MacLeod), Diane Dupuis (Daniel) and Eric Lavigne (Jaime Brooks). Proud grandfather of Sébastien (Coralie), Jonathan, Jérémie, Caroline, Nicholas, Devynn and Aiden. Maurice will be fondly remembered by the Legault family, as well as many friends and neighbours.
He is predeceased by his adopted parents Edmond and Alice (née Genier) Lavigne.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, May 6th , 2023 at St. Anthony’s Church, 3737 Old Orchard Street, Apple Hill starting 9:30 am. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am followed by an interment at St. Anthony’s Parish Cemetery and a reception at St. Anthony’s Parish Hall.
Memorial donations to The Palace LTC – Resident Council Fund or The Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Paisiblement entouré de sa famille le dimanche 19 mars 2023 à l’Hôpital Glengarry Memorial d'Alexandria, à l'âge de 84 ans.
Époux bien-aimé depuis 52 ans de Clara Lavigne (née Legault). Père bien-aimé de Robert Lavigne (Wendy MacLeod), Diane Dupuis (Daniel) et Eric Lavigne (Jaime Brooks). Fier grand-père de Sébastien (Coralie), Jonathan, Jérémie, Caroline, Nicholas, Devynn et Aiden. Maurice restera dans le souvenir de la famille Legault, ainsi que de nombreux amis et voisins.
Il est prédécédé par ses parents adoptifs Edmond et Alice (née Genier) Lavigne.
La famille recevra les condoléances le samedi 6 mai 2023 à l'église St. Anthony, 3737 Old Orchard Street, Apple Hill à partir de 9h30. Une messe funéraire aura lieu à 10h30, suivie d'une inhumation au cimetière paroissial de St. Anthony et d'une réception à la salle paroissiale de St. Anthony.
Des dons commémoratifs au Palais Soin de Longue Durée - Fonds du conseil des résidents ou à La Fondation de l’Hôpital Glengarry Memorial seraient appréciés par la famille.
