C’est avec une grande tristesse que Marcel Campeau est décédé paisiblement au Glen Stor Dun Lodge à Cornwall mardi 19 décembre 2023 à l'âge de 86 ans.  Époux bien-aimé de feu Hélène Campeau (née Cuerrier).  Père aimant de Denis Campeau (Dianne Ménard) de Wasaga Beach, Sylvie Campeau (Dennis Posthumus) de Tara, Alain Campeau (Marie-Lynn) de Saint-Télesphore, Chantal Carrière (Paul) d’Alexandria et Lyne Campeau de Vaudreuil-Dorion.  Fier grand-père de Frédéric Carrière (Mélanie Bellefeuille), feu Jasmin Campeau (Heidi Wagar), Francis Carrière (Claudine St-Jean), Alexis Campeau, Julien Campeau, Derrick Campeau, Kacey Keusch-Campeau (Kristine Guantero Tan), Marie-Claude Carrière (Marc-Yvan Larochelle), Zachary Carrière (Marina Fukano), Mathieu Lachance, Alexandra Keusch-Campeau et Audrey Lachanche; et arrière-grand-père de Isaac, Rosalie, Félix, Nicolas, Éléna, Gabriel, Élisabeth, Philippe, Logan, Oceane, Stella, Mavrik et Kira.  Fils de feu Omer Campeau et feu Aurise Leblanc.  Cher frère de feu Roger Campeau (Jeannine), Jeannine “Sophie” Verrier (feu Lucien), feu Rollande Cuerrier (feu Raymond), feu Claire Campeau-Payment (Maurice Payment), feu Monique Poirier (feu Robert), Rita Campeau-Roger (Donald Roger), feu Donat, feu Pauline Provencher (feu Serge), Rémi Campeau (Nicole Lalonde), feu Carmen Campeau-Schrappe (feu Georges Schrappe), Gérald Campeau (Francine Jones) et Gaëtan Campeau (Lori Cooper).  Marcel restera dans la mémoire de la famille Cuerrier, plusieurs neveux, nièces, voisins et de ses amis.  La famille recevra vos condoléances au Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580, rue Main S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400, le vendredi 22 décembre 2023 de 19H00 à 21H00, et samedi de 9H00 à 10h30.  Une messe d'inhumation chrétienne sera célébrée à l'église Sainte-Marie-de-l'Assomption, Green Valley le samedi 23 décembre à 11H00. It is with great sadness that Marcel Campeau passed away peacefully at Glen Stor Dun Lodge in Cornwall on Tuesday December 19th, 2023 at the age of 86.  Beloved husband of the late Hélène Campeau (néeCuerrier).  Loving father of Denis Campeau (Dianne Ménard) of Wasaga Beach, Sylvie Campeau (Dennis Posthumus) of Tara, Alain Campeau (Marie-Lynn) of Saint-Télesphore, Chantal Carrière (Paul) of Alexandria and Lyne Campeau of Vaudreuil-Dorion. Dear brother of the late Roger Campeau (Jeannine), Jeannine “Sophie” Verrier (the late Lucien), the late Rollande Cuerrier (the late Raymond), the late Claire Campeau-Payment (Maurice Payment), the late Monique Poirier (the late Robert), Rita Campeau-Roger (Donald Roger), the late Donat, the late Pauline Provencher (the late Serge), Rémi Campeau (Nicole Lalonde), the late Carmen Campeau-Schrappe (the late Georges Schrappe), Gérald Campeau (Francine Jones) and Gaëtan Campeau (Lori Cooper). Marcel will remain in the memory of the Cuerrier family, and of his many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.  The family will receive condolences at the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main Street S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400, on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sainte-Marie-de-l'Assomption Church, Green Valley on Saturday, December 23 at 11:00 a.m.  A reception in honor of Marcel will follow in the reception room of the Glengarry Funeral Home.  Memorial donations from the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  Condolences / Donations / Tributes can be made online at www.glengarryfuneralhome.com
