Obituary / Nécrologie

Peacefully, at Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria, on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the age of 62.  Beloved husband and best friend of Sandra “Sam” Broomfield.  Loving father of Jonathan Clarke (Audrey Anne Mercier); and stepfather of Wayne Townsend, Christopher Townsend and Tiffany Townsend (Mathieu Carrier).  Brother of Lorraine Clarke.  Son of the late Ruby Florence Jane (née Pierce) and Lorne Harold Clarke.  A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held in the Reception Centre of the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, ON (613) 525-3400 on Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM with Eulogies / Tributes commencing at 3:00 PM.  At Brian's request, you are asked to dress in your favorite jeans, race gear, camo, etc...; and the wearing of novelty hats are stongly encourage (see memorial video).  Memorial donation to La Fondation de l’Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  Condolences/Donations/Tributes may be made online at www.glengarryfuneralhome.com
