Nécrologie de Laurier "Ti Gris" Deguire

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Laurier “Ti Gris” Deguire on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the age of 88 years.  Beloved husband of 65 years to Thérèse Deguire (née Ménard).  Father of Carmen Deguire, Jacqueline Lavigne (Gerald), Conrad Deguire, Louise Deguire (Mario Gauldrault), and Laura Brossoit (Michel).  Proud grandfather of Gabriel Deguire, Maxime Deguire, Jonathan Deguire, Jéremie Deguire, Mikaël Deguire, Jamie Deguire, Joël Lavigne, André Lavigne, Sylvain Lavigne, Eric Brossoit, Vincent Brossoit and Melissa-Michelle Brossoit.  Son of the late Rosario and the late Irène (née Beriault) Deguire.  Brother of Jeannine (Philippe Pilon), Marie-Ange (Harry Rae), Elizabeth D’Aoust, Valentine Deguire (Marcel Germain), Raymond Deguire (Francis Kozaroff), the late Maurice Deguire, the late Rhéal Deguire, the Jean-Paul Deguire, the late André Deguire, the late Fernand Deguire (Anne), the late Albert Deguire (late Rose), the late Thérèse Deguire and the late Pauline (late Fernand Duval).  “Ti Gris” will be fondly remembered by his many nephews, nieces, friends and neighbours. Family and friends are asked to gather at the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm and Saturday from 9 - 11 am. A Celebration of The Word will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11 am.  A reception will follow.  Donations made to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
