C'est avec beaucoup de tristesse que la famille annonce le décès d’Edmond Vachon au Palais soin de longue durée, Alexandria, le mardi 4 décembre, 2018, à l'âge de 79 ans. Cher époux de feue Simone Vachon (née Guay). Père bien- aimé de Nicole (Claude), Richard (Crystal), Micheline (André), Diane (Luc), Carolle (Michel), Jacques (Mélanie), Luc (Amélie) et Marc (Denise).  Fier grand-père de Mélanie, Jacinthe, Sébastien, Tia, Jonathan, Abélia, William, Maxime, Sabrina, Gabriel, Brittany et Christian.  Fils de feu Hilaire Vachon et feue Marie-Anne (Lafrance) Vachon. Cher frère de feue Alexina Deguire (feu Edmond), feue Blanche Charlebois (feu Philorum), feue Irene Charlebois (feu Gérard), feue Simone Vachon, feu Théodore (feue Pauline), feu Joseph (Jacqueline) et feu Wilfrid (Colette).  Edmond restera dans la mémoire de plusieurs neveux, nièces, amis et voisins. Familles et amis sont priés de se réunir au Salon Funéraire Glengarry, 580 rue Main S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400, le vendredi 14 décembre, 2018 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le samedi de 9h à 10h15. Une célébration chrétienne de funérailles aura lieu en l’église Ste Marguerite d’Écosse de Glen Nevis, le samedi 15 décembre à 11h. Une réception suivra au Salon Funéraire Glengarry.  Les dons commémoratifs faits à la société Alzheimer seraient appréciés par la famille.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Edmond Vachon at the Palace LTC, Alexandria on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the age of 79 years. Dear husband of late Simone Vachon (née Guay). Beloved father of Nicole (Claude), Richard (Crystal), Micheline (André), Diane (Luc), Carolle (Michel), Jacques (Mélanie), Luc (Amélie) and Marc (Denise).  Proud grandfather of Melanie, Jacinthe, Sébastien, Tia, Jonathan, Abélia, William, Maxime, Sabrina, Gabriel, Brittany and Christian.  Son of the late Hilaire Vachon and late Marie-Anne (née Lafrance) Vachon. Dear brother of late Alexina Deguire (late Edmond), late Blanche Charlebois (late Philorum), late Irene Charlebois (late Gérard), late Simone Vachon, late Theodore (late Pauline), late Joseph (Jacqueline) and late Wilfrid (Colette).  Edmond will remain in the memory of his many nephews, nieces, friends and neighbours. Family and friends are asked to gather at the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm and Saturday from 9 - 10:15 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Glen Nevis on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11 am. A reception will follow at Glengarry Funeral Home.  Donations made to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
