Nécrologie de Richard Hoekstra

Suddenly, at his home on Monday, October 8, 2018.  Richard Hoekstra of Bainsville at the age of 69.  Beloved husband of 33 years to Amanda Hoekstra (née Bylsma).  Loving father of Whitney Morton (John), Amber Kaiser (Brian) and Dallas Hoekstra (Alice).  Proud grandfather of Stephen, Michael, Edlynne and one on the way.  Dear brother of Grace Stolte (Herm), Margaret Ford, Theo (Marg), George (late Joyce), Doreen Cowin (Lloyd), Elaine Luymes (John) and Fred (Lee-Anne)).  Son of the late Hans and the late Gertje (née De Jong) Hoekstra.  Richard will be fondly remembered by his extended family, customers, neighbours and friends.  Relatives and friends are requested to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 2 – 4 pm and on Saturday from 9 – 11 am.  A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Glengarry Funeral Home on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11 am.  A reception will follow.  Memorial donations to Bright Hope for Tomorrow Mission Canada, PO Box 100, 71 Old Kingston Rd., Ajax, ON L1T 3A6 would be appreciated by the family.
