Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer at Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 3, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Gerry Lalonde of Green Valley, at the age of 69.  Beloved husband and best friend of Irene Lalonde (née Séguin).  Proud father of Patrick (Kelly), Marc (Melinda) and Stephan (Amanda); and grandfather of Joshua, Brielle, Alexanne and Jaxson.  Dear brother of Paulette Denomme (late Cyril).  Son of the late Albert Lalonde and the late Fidelia Lalonde (née Girard).  Gerry will be fondly remembered by his extended family, neighbours, friends, and his former clients.  Family and friends are requested to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Monday from 9:30-10:30 am.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at Église Sainte-Marie-de-l'Assomption, Green Valley on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 11 am.  A reception will follow at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home Reception Centre.  Memorial donations to Bladder Cancer Canada would be appreciated by the family.
