Robert "Rose" Décoste

Suddenly at home, on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the age of 58. Beloved husband and best friend of Brenda Décoste (née Van Putten). Loving father Tanya Quenneville (Pierre), Robert Jr. (Laura) and Jennifer Pastor (Guillaume). Proud Grandpa of Logan, Tristan, Breeanna, Joshua, Alyson and Britney. Dear brother of Guillaume (Linda), Roxane Ménard (Michel), Denis (Lise), Sue Poirier (Guy) and Dianne Larocque (Pierre). Son of the late Guy and the late Rejeanne (née Lajoie) Décoste; and son-in-law of Lucy Muir (Van Putten). “Rosaire” will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and cousins; the Van Putten family; his neighbours and friends, his coworkers at Alexandria Moulding; his fellow Bruins fans; and by all those for whom he created a nickname. Family and friends are requested to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 7-9 pm, on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 9-10 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 10:30 am. Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery and a reception at Glengarry Funeral Home will be follow.
