Peacefully, at The Palace Long Term Care, Alexandria on Wednesday, September 7th, 2016 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Marianne Nicholson (née Kavka). Loving father of Brian Nicholson and Susan Nicholson (Holly). Proud grandfather of Fatimah (Munir), Jessica, Jennifer and Katelyn (Brock); and great grandfather of Maalik, Haajirah, Suhailah, Zakariyya, Hamzah and Myla. Son of the late Robert W. and the late Margaret Nicholson (née McNichol). Bob’s family would like to thank Louise Pratte-Covington and Eric Covington for their love and friendship; and the dedicated and caring staff of The Palace Long Term Care. Relatives and friends are requested to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Monday, September 12th, 2016 from 7 – 9 pm.
