Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Maxville Manor on Sunday, August 14, 2016 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Marcelle Prud’Homme (née Depratto). Loving father of Joanne Charles (Peter), Luc Prud’Homme (Ginette), Roch Prud’Homme (Doris), Roxanne Prud’Homme (David Horricks) and Serge Prud’Homme (Hélène). Proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Son of the late Hormidas and the late Noëlla (née Drouin) Prud’Homme. Dear brother of the late Gisele Piché (late Hector), Cécile Gauthier (late Jean-Marie), the late Jean Prud’Homme (late Marla), Rachelle Carriere (late Adrien), the late Madeleine Pilon, Louis Prud’Homme (Laurette), Paul Prud’Homme (Eunice), Gilles Prud’Homme and the late Roch Prud’Homme. Remi will be fondly remembered by his extended family, friends, neighbours and his former customers of Remi Prud’Homme Insurance Brokers Inc. Relatives and friends are requested to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm and on Friday from 9:00 – 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11 am. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall. A private interment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
